- SMTP (Outgoing): smtp.YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME.com (i.e. smtp.lenashore.com)
This tutorial shows you how to set up Mail to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Mail using Leopard, but these settings are similar in other versions of the operating system. You can set up previous versions of Mail by using the settings in this tutorial.
Step-by-Step Set-up
- Open Mail. Go to Mail –> Preferences –> Accounts
- If you don’t know your ISP’s outgoing (SMTP) setting, try looking at this list.
